The Fil-Can Intercity Golf Association was was founded in 2022 by Chris Joaquin (of Calgary) and Manny Aranez (of Winnipeg).  Their goal was to provide the ultimate platform for Canadian Amateur Filipino golfers to showcase the game of golf through friendly competition over 3 days.

With decades of experience in both hosting major tournaments in basketball and golf, the Fil-Can Intercity Golf Tournament is truly the first of it’s kinds that has not been done in Canada.  With 150 members spanning across 8 major cities in Canada, the yearly tournament allows all members to build camaraderie, compete against other cities in the ever-so growing sport of golf, but more importantly build lifetime friendships.

Going into it’s 4^th Annual Tournament, Chris and Manny are beyond excited to again unite with fellow Filipino-Canadians in the 3-day Ryder Cup Style Tournament!  The commitment and dedication of the 150 members, have truly made this tournament and organization a success. Salamat!
